PEASANT UPRISING IN UGANDA- Is this the new form of struggle that will engulf Africa- in which peasants will stand up against oppressive and corrupt governments that have no meaning or relevance for them, and yet want to grab their land? Is Africa going back to the era of revolutionary armed struggle, because that seems the next logical step for Uganda as peasant communities loose their fear of the gun, tell the the gangster government in clear and uncompromising language that they are ready to defend their land to the last man and woman, if necessary, assert their national and democratic demands in more militant forms, and fearlessly confront a brutal and blood-soaked killer regime like the Kayibanda Museveni military junta, in struggles reminiscent of anti-colonial resistance struggles like the Lamogi Rebellion waged against British colonialism in which these same peasants sacrificed so many lives? Neo-colonial puppet regimes like that of Rwandan outlaw Kayibanda Museveni in Uganda, which serve the interests of global capitalism and act as hatchetmen or glorified policemen for American imperialism are surely on the way out in Africa
