{UAH} Jeremy Kyle show suspended after death of guest

Dr Georges Kololo/ Ikanos,

Should TV shows which encourage guests to talk about deeply troubling  sometimes traumatic experiences be banned? They have now proliferated, a bit like evangelical churches, where presenters, many of whom do not have any training in counselling or pyschological intervention, lead very vulnerable people into a public narrative about their lives. Some of these individuals are often on the tip of the edge, many suicidal. I have never believed in the confession as a  means of solving any problem- in fact I believe my inner most problems best kept to myself- and I am the only one who can keep my secrets who can save myself from worldly or spiritual turmoil. Now this Jeremy Kyle, a famous Confessional Presenter, who runs a daily programme on prime time TV last week conducted a very disturbing interview with a disturbed guest, and now the man has apparently killed himself. Would the man not have been better off talking to the men in the white coats rather than to a presenter of a TV programmw whose main motive is ratings and audience numbers?
