{UAH} NATIONAL RESISTANCE MATAKO EMANCIPATION GOVERNMENT

THE NATIONAL SEX TOURISM/KIMANSULO INFRASTRUCTURE POLICY PAPER.

I am fasting so I find it very disturbing to discuss certain issues. First do we agree that despite what is publicly declared, there is actually no leadership whatsoever for the last 40 years when it comes to combatting sexual abuse and sexual harrassment of women at work places in Uganda? Instead we see the disease continue across society as an entire government, all the way from the top down, promotes sex tourism. All sheepishly happy about Miss Matako (bums), saying "let them come and show us so as to attract tourists".
Are you the tourists?
Then not only it turns out that the 'Matako Power' prize vehicle is bichupuli (fake), but we also start hearing women working in government departments experiencing more sexual abuse on a daily basis. In fact it is the known secret policy that all these men in government offices constantly ask for sex from women in exchange for jobs, promotions, or even government services yet they are paid a monthly salary to simply do their job.
Dear Women. Am I not right when I call NRM "the National Resistance Matako Government"? Isn't it what they are all after in these offices?
This is fact.
The NRM has quietly institutionalised sexual harrassment and sexual abuse across all government departments including in institutions of higher learning where young girls are shocked when they get their first lesson of this behaviour, and suddenly realize the true abusive society ahead that they are going to have to survive in for the rest of their lives. They learn that they have to provide sex for anything they want in society, and they now think this is how the world works. No, this is how NRM society works. Uganda was once a society that generally respected women on a person to person basis, and where marriage was something youths were encouraged to engage in rather than waste themselves...until NRM.
Let's not be fooled by some token leadership positions under a so-called affirmative action that only serves to impress donors. As we all know, even those that get those pictures positions have to pay in kind somehow.
So there is what is on display, and then there is the dark reality of what happens behind the scenes in almost all government offices today. And the problem is the male mentality across society.
The news this week is covering the case of one lone highly professional woman who has finally come out exposing sexual abuse by judges and judicial officers at the Ministry of Justice for over her ten years at the department. Yes, it is sexual abuse girls and boys, and it is evil behaviour. But because of the deeper infestation of this system, the perpetrator is probably furious and enraged inside, and the system as a whole might instead quietly make the lady pay for speaking out. Meanwhile countless other culprits continue sexual abuse with impunity. Including in the private sector.
What kind of women's emancipation is that? And most disturbing of all, aren't all the millions of women in Uganda cowering in silence and suffering quietly for the past 30 years under this deadly but silent NRM sexually abusive culture?
Even women emancipation organizations are said to be infected and they are themselves so deep inside the belly of the snake that they fail to grasp the full magnitude of this huge societal behavioral creature.
Even the widespread corruption across Uganda today is one and the same beast. It has become the default behaviour, a second nature, in fact now a natural instinct. The established working culture lurking over Ugandans like the obligatory presidents picture in all offices. And it is now part of the national psyche after decades of collusion, connivance, injustice and impunity as forced on the people of Uganda.
To solve this problem, there is no other option but to speak out. But there also has to be leadership that does not tolerate sexual abuse.
Maybe some of the men in leadership should just stop consuming their "medical marijuana". What kind of government puts Ugandan womens bums (& sex tourism) as official government policy paper if it is not a group of people under the influence of matako, alcohol or some other mentally impairing substance?
Why is there no single NRM male leader serving as an example to young boys by relentlessly fighting sexual abuse and sexual harassment of women in this country?
Isn't it the young boys of today who are going to become the men that will be sexually abusing women across society tomorrow? And yet these boys are learning tomorrows practices from the corrupt thieves and sexual predators of today who have little respect even for their own daughters.
