{UAH} He didn’t show up for the wedding – My Wedding

This takes me down memory lane when very moons ago I was a best man. First after the kasiki, we left for Ange Noir where then DJ Charlie had to literary kick us out in the wee hours of the night, reminding us of our obligations that morning which appeared to have completely escaped us.
We got home with our side chicks, got down to business ,then unfortunately being very drunk , dosed off. It was not until Peter, the current Katikiro who was the MC, sent someone to check on why we were late for church. Everybody was already there. We were still sleeping. What a day it was!!!
As if that was not bad enough, when we got to church, one of us oblivious of where we were, lit a cigarette - in church. Phew!
