{UAH} I want reread this book again!
Allan
I do not know.
There are merits and demerits with NRM (museveni). Taking out NRM now
as you can see the extreme acts of violence – law will break down
totally. You know from USA, Latin America experience, if a country has
gangs, or some form of organized criminality exists, then the state is
fragile.
NRM bush war combatants are not following the some script or line of thinking.
To me there are three issues that can save this country
a. Full political activities by a limited number of political parties (3 or 4)
b. Unionising all Workers so that they can fight for their welfare.
c. Demilitarising some aspect of social life.
These three issues will give people back power two (convictions) and
erase power one a master slave relationship that dominates NRM power
structure.
Convictions are important as an unshakable belief that one can reach
his her earthly needs and want.
I am still trying to understand this now that Ugandans have lost
empathy and can kill at will and there appears no one cares or it is
business as usual!
Then we are in an animal territory.
