Here is Gakuru Macharia sending his condolences.. Gakuru is a former journalist who has now joined politics. He is a Woolwich boy, and stood for MP for the  Conservatives in a strong Labour Constituency and unsurprisingly lost. He is still a local councillor and may try his luck in another constituency  where he may stand a better chance as no conservative can ever be elected in Woolwich, even for next one hundred years.

 Gakuru is the ODM and Raila Odinga's representative here in the UK and he does a lot of work on Kidney research in Kenya. He has raised funds to open a Kidney Hospital in kenya. A nice guy. He is the one who broke the story of the Miracle Babies many years ago when he was still a journalist.

Help KRK mourn a great leader and the former Governor of Bomet Lady Joyce Laboso. The cruel hand of sickness and subsquent demise has robbed the nation another great leader.

We were to meet in London during her treatment here but she was transferred to India before I got back to the UK.

Her interest in us training Bomet renal doctors kept our friendship. We'll keep our promise Madam.

Our condolences to the family, the county and Kenya at large.
