Today Friday 5th July 2019, Teso exhibited yet another glorious Joy after our Dear Fountain of Honor, HE President Yoweri Museveni granting Us the New Kalaki District. 

Kalaki is one of those new districts that were approved to start Operation this Financial year. It was Curved out of the bigger Kaberamaido District that houses both Iteso and Kuman. 

Rt Hon Ruth Nankabirwa, delivered the President's Message to the Jubilant Iteso and Kumans who Praised the President for Religiously Honoring their request of elevating Kalaki to a district status so as to address the Intricacies of inefficient service delivery. 

Hon Nankabirwa thanked Hon Dr Clement Ongalo for being such a resilient and an Astute Leader of very high quality and Calibre, who against all odds pushed for the creation of Kalaki district. During the function Hon Ongalo Donated a brand new, fully Equipped Ambulance to the People of Kalaki. 

The People Of Kalaki promised to give Both President Museveni and Hon Dr Clement Ongalo 98% of the Votes Come 2021 as an appreciation for the Job well done.

Several Leaders from within and Outside Teso were present to witness the Birth of the New District that will have two Town Councils and Eight Sub Counties. Among the Honorable Members of Parliament Present Included; Hon Bishop Patrick Okabe, Hon Min Jaff Akiror, Hon Elijah Okupa, Hon Isala Veronica, Hon Ajilong Mary Gorreti, Hon Hellen Adoa, Hon Peter Ogwang, Hon Kenneth Esiangu Eitunganane, Hon Anthony Okello, Hon Isiagi, Hon Opolot Fred among others.
