Uganda Priti Patel, New UK Home Secretary, Clamps Down On Legal Migration.A Minimum salary of £36,000 ($45,000) would exclude nearly all immigrants, except for the very high skilled who are needed in areas where there are shortages, such as Hospital Doctors, Specialist IT, Finance etc. A Majority Of Immigrants she is targeting are low-income workers doing menial jobs that the locals don't want to do.
