{UAH} Labour MP says the monarchy could be abolished after Queen approves PM's plan to suspend Parliament

London (Edmonton) Labour MP, The Ghanaian Kate Osamor wants the UK monarchy abolished because of the Queen's approval of Boris Johnson's attempted coup, which is still being resisted across the length and breadth of the country. Under the UK's constitutional arrangement, the monarch is a ceremonial head of state, but most decisions are made by the sitting government and its executive head, the prime minister.

The Queen approved the order on Wednesday afternoon to prorogue Parliament.
