Tim is running in the November 2019 election.

Mr. Gaburungyi is currently the Vice President, MIS & Technology Solutions at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center of New York - the busiest Convention Center in the United States, generating up to $1.9 billion of economic activity and supporting 17,700 jobs a year.

Tim Gaburungyi has called Danbury home for more than a decade, where he settled with his family after an international career in the hospitality industry that took him throughout Africa, the Middle East and Europe. 

He has volunteered as a Soccer Coach with the Danbury Youth Soccer Club. Like his running mate, Tim is also an avid photographer. 

A first generation American born in Uganda, Tim has lived through experiences that ensure a true appreciation for political freedoms, personal liberty and human rights. Thus, he has kept abreast of current affairs and issues at local, nation and international levels. Tim is very excited about the opportunity to serve in elective office on the City Council.
