{UAH} How best to remember Besigye when he's still alive!

Friends,

I have a suggestion on how best we can remember Dr.Kiiiza Besigye's contribution to the struggle for democracy in Uganda- something, I believe, we should do when he is still alive, rather than wait for him to die, or after change of govt. I suggest that a monument of him is built outside or inside the FDC offices at Najjanankumbi. I know that it seems crazy, partly because M7 is still in power, but when Maya Lin conceived of the Vietnam memorial, people thought that it was crazy too. And now, it's one of the most visited tourist attractions in Washington, DC.

We could work with the FDC leadership on this , especially on logistics involved. We could all start chipping in with whatever we have got in our pockets, after receiving the budget for it. I'm ready to kick off the fundraising with £100 when FDC and other democracy lovers, are ready to chip in.
