{UAH} m7 finishing off the youth movt

Mr.Museven has now started off his grand plan to finish off the youth liberation movement led by Hon Kyagulanyi. In a space of about two Weeks he unleashed the deadly Carrot and Stick strategy against the People Power movement in a raid that is likely to cause some hiccups.in the People Power camp unless we up our game and quickly repulse him with a counter attack.

Being a young political movement and hit by way of ambush,PP doesnt even seem to know how best to react to this attack facilitated by State institutions and funded by taxpayer's money. The biggest challenge is that in addition to the indefference of Ugandans,People Power had recently burnt a number of bridges and their leaders is somehow isolated. Museveni being a guerrilla and experienced Dictator loves such environment...Isolate an opponent and crush him completely.

Dangling a carrot in one hand and a stick in the other Museveni is shamelessly doing things a leader of his calibre would have been embarrased to do. As Museveni parades himself at State house and nods with approval as the Full figures of this World jumpship to endorse him, its tears at at the other end of the City as the People Power youth coordinator Zulaika Nalukenge who was kidnapped by State Security Operatives, recounts the ordeal she went through before she was finally released after horrendous torture.

In this, the message being sent to the young women is that you either choose to be a Catherine Kusasira get yourself a fourwheel car,salary and title or a Zulaika Nalukenge to be kidnaped,undressed abused and humiliated.

A strike at Makerere University gave Museveni the excuse he has always wanted to hit and disperse the People Power base built around the charisma of the People Power Students leaders led by Guild President Kateregga. A few weeks earlier the junta plotted and dethroned a Pro-people power Guild President at Kyambogo University before it unleashed terror on the students who were fighting for their leader..These seemingly isolated attacks can cause an accumulated effect ,that is why our reaction mu be measure and deliberate.

To start of this attack Museveni first sent a message to the international Community through what I believe was an arranged interview on BBC....He declared Hon.Bobi an enemy of Uganda. He framed Bobi with an offence of working with and for foreign agencies with intrest to destabilise a "peaceful and developing Uganda". Ofcourse nothing of this is true but the lie fits in well with the criminality with which he is going to deal with the People Power movement.

Strategically, the junta set up the People Power against the army by declaring their major attire (red barret) a dress for UPDF....the Army is now out to show that its superior to the People Power. Knowing the mentality of soldiers, this is not a small matter. The army all around the world is trained to finish off challengers.

Using the carrot,Mr.Museveni is now recruiting the city city riff-raffs and Musicians not of the value they bring to his Nrm Nrm , but because he wants Bobi to be fought by his own. The Butchermans are not therefore useless as their status would have dictated, they are commanders in the satanic battle the Junta is going to wage against a leader of the oppressed and disadvantaged young people who are the majolity in the Country. So when General Museveni saluted Butcherman he meant it.

At the same time, the junta has deployed extensively to harass and terrorise any of Bobi' people, making it very dangerous now to associate with People Power. Being young andrelatively new in the field some of the activists are likely to chicken out of activism. I have these days noted a decrease in the number of young people donning the red barrets. RDCs and the LDU's full time job these days is to hunt down Bobi supporters.

Today because of my health challenges,I kept home and had opportunity to watch the Kenzo Presser, a political merry making function at Rubaga both running on a day when the People Power was mourning and sending off Sweet Pepsi a victim of State brutality. At the sametime the students leader Kateregga was still being reported missing and any action to draw attention away from Makerere is definately a favor to the junta.

It was clear that Kenzo is nolonger comfortable identifying with People Power and he gave the regime a plus when he praised Mr.Museveni as a kind parent and the country's security as being better than many countries he has been to despite the fact that he was asking for soldiers to guard him from the "Mafias".

Kenzo brought suprised me when he said that from Ssemwogerere,Ssebagala,Besigye and now Bobi innocent Ugandans are dying when the fact of the matter is that "these people are fighting for themselves". Why wasnt Kenzo cautioning Ugandans against the killer junta rather than its victims? This coming from Kenzo who composed and sang Mbikooye,System Volongoto only the other day is worrying. Yet deeply in the denial that he is apolitical the spirit to fight for freedom was peeping....These were not words of a free Kenzo for I observed that he kept looking at someone on the sides for approval.

At at the burial of Sweet Pepsi,Bobi was "alone"...he was introduced to talk by his collegue in firebase Nubian Lee. Where were "us", opposition politicians?! Why does Bobi have to stand alone at a burial of a fighter who had fallen in the battle? There are many big politicians who claim to be People power....where were they?

Remember the people who positioned themselves arounded Hon Bobi and with consistence cultivated hate against senior activists and freedom fighters....they abused us,labbeled us all sorts of accusations...Today they have deserted the People Power camp. Many of these people today where on the other side of the City dancing at a launch of their election campaigns as Bobi stood alone to bury a fighter!

Having considered the above....I wish to appeal to comrades the true activists of change, that the pretenders have deserted....we need to recharge the batteries and get back to the front immidiately. An attack on People Power is an attack on all forces of change....We must realise that through attacking people power the junta is in a fresh attack against all of us.And to the People Power activists....I say, we are stronger together.
