{UAH} What does all the data mean?
By 2025 Uganda would have ten cities. The idea is to expedite economic
growth or expansion. Kampala alone contributes to about 75% of the
entire GDP and consumes virtually all fresh food stuffs produced in
the country.
Jinja, Mbale, Fortportal, Masaka, Gulu, Arua, Kabale, Entebbe, Lira
etc. are some of the new cities. Mbale and Masaka will share just 11
billion this financial year to kick start city status.
Uganda has surpassed half of UKs population a country which is just
twice as big.
Uganda's annual population growth is 3.3% annually. Translating into
about 1.5 million each year
Uganda population is estimated to be 43 million people and the
fertility rate is slightly above 5 children per woman. Population
density is 222 per Km2 (574 people per mi2)
Uganda does have a nation housing scheme.
What does all the data above mean?
