Here is JOSHUA V RUIZ if you didn't watch it.  You will see Joshua fought a very tactical and beautiful fight. In the end, it was a masterpiece in boxing- his best performance by far as a boxer. He was under instructions from his coaches to fight from a distance, to rely on his longer reach, movement, speed, and accurate jabs and occasional hooks, to avoid getting close to the Mexican, and above all to avoid mixing it up with him in a free for all,  or toe to toe confrontation. That's the mistake he made in the last fight, and they did not want him to make it again. Just keep Ruiz at a distance and pick him off with jabs and quick fire combinations, and then move away, not giving him any chance to come inside. If he managed to get close, then grab him and force the referee to break up fight. And it worked to perfection.

Joshua is the perfect gentleman and a role model for young black men in the UK. He is Mr Polite. He was very generous to his defeated opponent and advised him not to hang up his gloves.  And he still remembered his earlier coaches who dragged him off from a life of crime on the streets and gave him boxing. He recalled the early days when his legs would be tagged as he turned up at the gym for training so the probation service and police could monitor his movements as an alternative to locking him up in jail. He has made the most of the opportunity boxing gave him and is a shining example to the struggling black race here in the UK
