{UAH} Music & Sports School, Marketing, Managment and Promotion

Many Ugandan youth that have grown up speaking better English than us,
can indeed have a foothold in the fledging music and sports industry.
I tried to start a sports school working with professors at Lancaster
University in the UK but our local University management was
indisposed with proceeds and the project fell out despite departmental
willingness to offer a big start-up.
The youth here are making music and trying in sports that is taking
them places, however they are still too local to really sustain this
trade. The English are very good in this area in marketing, promotion,
organisation and management.
In Uganda one succeeds and next time he or she is off track.
Government is as well is too local to understand the need, a reason
why they have never built any meaningful music or sports school or
facility!
There are Ugandans in the diasporas that have the right sense and
taste, marketing and promotion skills, music and sports school
connections to train and offer these youngsters a foothold in the
global market with relatively good returns.
One time, I went to a city library in Örebro city and requested them
to get me a certain local Uganda music I had heard on the radio. I
thought they were going to order it from Britain only to be taken to
the library basement where there was all sorts of African music well
sorted by country and genre!
