Who bewitched Luos? We get excited over PETTY things. We got carried away with Kiunjuri's removal from cabinet that nobody noticed this:

From Uhuru Kenyatta's speech yesterday:

1. He has directed the National Treasury to immediately operationalise the 3 billion shillings Cherry Revolving Fund within the next 30 days to cushion coffee (Central Kenya) farmers from delayed payments.

2. He has directed the National Treasury to release 500 million shillings to the new KCC to purchase excess milk from farmers (Central Kenya).

3. He has directed the National Treasury to release a further 575 million shillings to the new KCC for two milk plants, one in Nyeri and one in Nyahururu (Central Kenya), to enhance their processing capacity. 

4. He has directed the National Treasury to release 300 million shillings to the Micro and Small Enterprises Authority for the construction of cold storage and processing facilities in Nyandarua and Meru (Central Kenya).

5. He has directed the National Treasury, the Ministry of Trade and Industry, the Ministry of Agriculture and the Attorney General to finalise and gazette the newly developed Tea Regulations (2019) within the next two weeks. The regulations include: establishment of the Green Leaf Pricing Formula Committee to determine the formula for pricing of green leaf and the establishment of a self-sustaining stabilisation fund to cushion farmers against price fluctuations and ensure implementation of GUARANTEED MINIMUM RETURNS. READ THIS AGAIN SLOWLY. Through these regulations, the Kikuyu (Central Kenya) tea farmer will be guaranteed minimum returns for his/her yield regardless of domestic and international price fluctuations.

What's in it for our people? Insult Ruto, Shout BBI, and sing Hosanna to the son of Jomo until our voices turn hoarse.

Who cares about the collapsing cane industry in Western Kenya? As long as we have Baba. He says sing Hosanna and we do so like school children. #InnocentNgare
