{UAH} IT IS LOVELY TO BE A CANADIAN

There is nothing better in the world than being a Canadian, for we are not only good people but we have very different standards. You will be very surprised how an American gets realized in a bar, very fast. They talk different they respond differently to questions, and it can be political or social. A Canadian responds to one question, and the next question must be Are you a Canadian? And yes the True North he goes. And we are not different for we fight, but because we argue based on facts. The moment we get the facts we stay on them till when the chickens come home. Words are selected very carefully, and left to self-defend. And one can pick them up and try to use them as he/she likes but they defend them selves out there. The prime Minister said that high tensions caused the death of the people in Iran, and Democrats wanted those words to read the Canadian prime minister attacks Trump due to the death of Canadians. The prime minister did not go back to that statement, it still stands to today yet the Democrats moved on. That is how a Canadian behave. One word, that Dr Kiiza Besigye will never lead Uganda, and good Lord, I said that word way back in the 80s, after I saw Besigye in Wakyato riding a bicycle with a great smile on his face. With an I am a Doctor and I hate politics crap all over his face.  Today we are walking 2020. Just one word but based on facts.

 

Now we have an interesting issue with Iran, an autocratic country, we have won so many wars with them with out a fight. And I will tell you one of the fights, through the federal government pressure with Teheran, they agreed to show our people their dead. So they walk into a location which I do not know, a government building probably, and the dead people get  rolled out. Canadians stood up and refused to view the bodies, what was the problem now? Iranians brought those bodies wrapped in an Iranian flag. That is it, you cannot do that, they are dead we know, but they are not being rolled out in Iranian flags. Canadians again based on facts got pissed and walked out. But they walked out with a plan B offered, if the law of Iran requires all bodies to roll out with a flag, we will call an air bus out of Toronto full of the Maple leaf flags, it will land here in about 7 or 8 hours we will wait, then we will use them, but a Iranian flag gets off and now or take them back. I do not know how this standoff ended but that is how principled are Canadians.

 

And those principles travel with us when we travel, I remember when I was going to Sydney Australia, we flew through Guangzhou  in China, now even though we were on transit, but the Chinese government was asking everyone to prove how much money you have to survive in China, and Guangzhou is a very expensive city. And these days we never travel with cash for we have credit cards and we have access to bank accounts when we are out there. But they were asking all stupid questions of how much money you have and how much is the limit on your credit card and what have you. I put my passport on the table and wait for the first question, she looked at it,  opened a couple of pages, and found a brand new page stamped it, and wrote in allowed to stay for 6 months. It was in Chinese I never had a firkin clue what she wrote in, so I ask her what should I do? She opened the door and told me to go in. I had to find an interpreter to know what she had written in. I never had any intention to stay in China and I left in 6 hours. But every Canadian passport was treated the same way. We all just walked through. They were targeting every passport, American, British, Norway, Denmark, Swiss they just never gave a fuck. And when you used an American passport in China, especially during those Obama administration days, man they puked at your face. The moment you threw in a Canadian passport, the noise stopped.

 

It is good that many people have built and defended that good name for this country, and it is our job to continue the struggle of protecting this country, not with guns but with facts, for we are the only True North.
