{UAH} What causes palms to dry us like this?
These particular palms are not dying but they seem to have been recently transplanted to that bed and are going through what you would call a culture shock, this should not worry you because they will soon adapt to the new environment and thrive.
Secondly, when planting plants try and plant them in well mixed loam soil that will allow water to sip to the roots (Soil mixing will be a story for another day hopefully) plant them dip enough not like these that were planted on a shallow surface.
It's recommended to always have at least a radius of 8 to 10ft + free space around the tree when planting so that it can grow freely to it's full potential. if you really want your tree next to say a wall then make sure the hole is so deep that the roots will grow underneath the foundation of the wall.
