POLICE OFFICER WHO STOLE STUDENT'S SCHOOL BAG CONTAINING SCHOOL FEES AND BOOKS SET TO BE RELEASED WITHOUT CHARGE!
Allegations coming in are that, on 3/3/2020 Jane Kusoma-not real name a stident from Mubende Light Academy went to Post Bank Mubende Branch to pay school fees. Poor girl placed her school's bag near the door as she went to pick and fill the bank slip. By the time she turned back, her bag was no where to be seen.
The Kusoma reported to the Branch Manager who played the CCTV and was able to identify the man who had ran away with the bag. The suspect's account was identified and blocked as a trap.
The victim registered a case of theft of her bag containing books and shs 140,000 under SD ref/61/3/3/2020 respectively. on 27/3/2020, the suspect went back to Post Bank to draw his salary and was arrested. He was identified as ASP AHEBWA JOHN ATTACHED TO BUDUDA POLICE STATION AND BORN OF KYEGEGWA DISTRICT.
He is being detained at Mubende Police Station and the Officer In-Charge is reluctant to charge his colleague.
Is that the best way to help Kusoma by the Police?
