{UAH} What does one think of Trump supporters?..

There are 3 types of Trump supporters:

1. The Trumptards: The ones who would not just vote for Trump, but remain passionately loyal to him, even if he stood in the middle of the 5th Avenue and shot somebody. Typical example is Mulindwa.
2. The lifelong Republicans who are sick and tired of the establishment.
3. The moderates and the independents who are dismayed by candidates so far, but want someone who instills passion among voters.

There are similar divisions even within the Democrats, but the first group is the one for which I feel sorry for. They are the sort of people who would benefit the most from a progressive agenda. But instead, they have unconsciously allowed themselves to be conned by a bunch of reactionary elitist politicians who have taught them to blame their problems on the democrats, the media, the liberals, and the immigrants, and have taught them to believe that a nationalistic approach with reestablishing the US as the sole policeman of the world, is going to keep Americans safe and improve their economic situation. Trump is just a symptom of this sentiment. I wish he was just the problem.

He has done a great job of making sure his voice and his language resonates with the poorly educated and the most vulnerable people, to the point where they have started to treat Trump like some sacred idol who they look up to for a sense of hope. You can see that by his demonization of the other side and the media.
