{UAH} THE BUTCHERS OF CONGO!

Let's be serious for just one second! Today people are rightly jumping on King Leopold II of Belgium for killing 10 million people in Congo during colonialism. Some have even destroyed his statues in his own country Belgium. Yet we have already forgotten that 6 million more innocent civilians died in the last Congo war (1998-2004). And not only has the world left the perpetrators of that butchery to walk Scott free to this very day, the international community, wether it's the United Nations, the European Union, the White House or the World Bank/IMF, all actually consistently support the two main perpetrators of the mass murder in Congo, namely Yoweri Kaguta Museveni and Paul Kagame, with hundreds of millions of Euro's and US Dollars each every month disguised as foreign aid, while only sending secondary warlords like Jean Pierre Bemba and Bosco Terminator Ntaganda to face international justice at the International Criminal Court - ICC in The Hague.

Worse still, the Congolese government itself, whether under Felix Tshisekedi or Joseph Kabila, or even the opposition political parties of Moise Katumbi and all the others in Congo, none has a single memorial day in their official calendar, nor has any of them urged for the construction of a national memorial landmark to remember & mourn the millions of souls of their own fellow citizens who were mercilessly put to death in that most heinous of bloodbaths in contemporary African history.

Happy Independence week to the people of the Democratic Republic of Congo!
