{UAH} “COURT RULING DOESN’T AFFECT MY NEW TERM”- AKENA

UPC party president Hon. Jimmy Akena has on Tuesday trashed Monday's court of appeal ruling, ordering him to vacate office of the UPC party presidency and ruled that fresh elections be held. Akena insists that the ruling would be valid for the previous term he occupied the office but since no one has challenged his new tenure as upc party president then he's going nowhere. This as he addressed the media at party headquarters this morning.
