NUP HAS SET UP SOMEONE AGAINST NAMBOOZE

Pressure is gradually mounting the Mukono Municipality Legislator Betty Nambooze Bakileke as she continue with her struggle to retain her parliamentary seat.

This has really upset the Mukono prankster which is forcing her off her political line and resort to attacking individuals who are less influential in the politics of Uganda.

While appearing on NBS TV on September 15, Nambooze categorized Balaam Barugahara, an a NRM supporter 'a useful idiot,' a statement she has attempted to clear but all in vain.

Political player and analysts have attributed the unbecoming behavior by Nambooze to the pressure being mounted on her by fellow NUP member in a struggle to lead NUP in Mukono.

Its well-known that Nambooze joined NUP with an aim of using Bobi Wine`s little achieved political popularity as a stepping stone to retain her Parliament seat. She even offered a six roomed house at Kavule ward to serve as the NUP party offices.

But it was to Nambooze`s surprise that a section of other NUP members led by Nambooze's daughter-in-law Lydia Namayengo Njuba also established another parallel NUP office in Mukono near the municipal taxi park.

The opening of two offices for the National Unity Platform- NUP in Mukono municipality has caused confusion and disunity among party members and this has upset Nambooze causing her to even attack members opposed to her political affiliation.
