Police Identify Suspect With Human Head, Victim

Police have identified the suspect arrested on Monday at Parliament with a human head.
The suspect, now under interrogation at Criminal Investigations Directorate, Kibuli has been identified as 22 year old Joseph Nuwashaba from Kizinda in Bushenyi District. Nuwashaba has been residing in Kyabakuza division, Masaka city working as a casual laborer at the home of Charles Ssenyonga.
The head he was carrying before being intercepted at Parliament has been established as that of 3 years old Faith Kyamagero, a daughter of Mr. Ssenyonga.
Police said Nuwashaba left the home with the young girl only to behead her before dumping the body at National Water and Sewerage Corporation Treatment Plant dump site in Masaka city.
Parliament police arrested the suspect on Monday afternoon.
The boy putting on a school uniform had wrapped the head in a box and labeled it as a gift for the Speaker, Rebecca Kadaga.
Security apprehended him as he tried to gain access to the building.
