{UAH} Leeds(UK) Tier 3 lockdown rules in full as government places city into very high alert level

Leeds Tier 3 rules

• People from different households must not meet indoors or in a private garden or at most outdoor hospitality venues and ticketed events, unless they are in a support bubble.

• People are not allowed to meet in groups of more than six in an outdoor public space, such as a park, beach, countryside, public garden or sports venue.

• All pubs and bars must close unless they are providing a 'substantial meal' - you can read more about what a substantial meal entails here

• People are discouraged from travelling outside the Tier 3 area or entering a different Tier area, with the exception of work, education or caring responsibilities.

• People from Leeds should avoid staying overnight in another part of the UK in a bid to reduce non-essential travel.

• People from outside Leeds should avoid coming here to stay overnight in a Tier 3 area.

• Betting shops, adult gaming centres, casinos and soft play centres must close.

• Gyms will remain open but gym classes will be stopped and social distancing guidelines must be followed between people from different households or social bubbles.

• Weddings and civil partnerships are permitted with a limit of 15 guests - wedding receptions are forbidden

• Funerals are limited to 30 guests and wakes to 15 guests. The latter must not take place in private homes.

• You can still move house if you live in a Tier 3 area and estate agents can undertake viewings with social distancing measures in place.

• You must not visit family members in a care home unless in 'exceptional circumstances', including visiting a relative at the end of life.

• Schools and education centres will remain open and students at university may move home and commute to campus but must not move back and forth between the two.
