{UAH} NUP flag-bearer misses out on parliamentary nominations

The National Unity Platform flag-bearer who was aspiring to contest for Oyam North Parliamentary seat, Bernard Onen has has not been nominated.

The returning officer Oyam district, Nelson Odima says, Onen was not nominated because of lack of  requisite papers needed for nomination.

He says, Onen had photocopies of his senior four and senior six certificates instead of the originals.

Odima however says, room will be given to such aspirants who appeal to the Electoral Commission once they rectify their documents.

Those that were nominated for Oyam North constituency include; Henry oboke Edonga,  an independent,  Apio Eunice, UPC flag bearer,  Okello Charles Patrick Engola Macodwogo, NRM, Joe Nam, independent,  Krispus Charles Ayena Odongo, independent,  Alum Santa Sandra Ogwang under UPC and Acayo Santa, NRM.
