*OFFICIAL STATEMENT ON THE BRUTALISATION OF OUR SUPPORTERS AND BURNING OF OUR POSTERS AND BANNERS.* 

Dear friends and supporters.

One of the opponents in the Municipality parliamentary race has run out of ideas and resorted to violence. Last night our banners were all brought down and burnt by known members if Derrick Kabuura's camp. they have been identified as a one Kyengeri, Innocent and Kenneth. This morning, they went ahead and attacked and brutalised our supporter who they accused of putting up our posters and banners. Those identified are Ashiraf, Frank, Fred and Andrew. They have been instructed to met violence on any one who doesn't support the puppet Kabuura Derrick.  They are in panic and this only shows how great you have been in showing them the kind of MP you want. Their violence will not deter our resolve to weed out political businessmen and merchants from our municipality. We promise you that the perpetrators will not go unpunished. We have opened a case against these individuals and they will be brought to book. Our legal team has already been instructed to take up legal proceedings.

To our supporters, do not be intimidated by these cowards. They have nothing to offer to the municipality apart from dirty politics. We refuse to fall for their bait. 

My message to these cowards is that you continue to expose your ineptitude to represent our people. The people of our municipality are peace loving people, yet you showcase violence. Your days are numbered. 

To our supporters, we thank you for your courage and resolve. We shall see this to the end. Victory is ours and for once and for all, together we shall drive out the political mafia from Bushenyi Ishaka municipality. Thank you.
