{UAH} UGANDA: HOW FAST THE STRUGGLES MARTYRS ARE COMPLETELY FORGOTTEN BY THEIR OWN! (Photo)

The late Edison Nasaasira's memorial day came and went, and not a single person remembered him! I tried to use social media to alert the country weeks in advance, especially Edison's own political leaders, about his upcoming remembrance day scheduled for 18th October, the day he was brutally murdered, but neither the DP political party that called him to protest the Changing of the Constitution (Togyikwatako), nor the FDC party where he actually belonged, to the best of my knowledge none of them even held just a minute of silence for his brutal death, his sacrifice, his martyrdom, or for the ultimate price that he paid for supporting their so-called "Struggle".
Back in 2017, a few days after Edison's death, his own parents took the blood money from his murderer, and thus understandably remained silent forever after. It was said in the media that for them they are NRM, yet his mum was clearly visible in the pictures of the funeral donning activist colors. But due to the political environment, possibly the fear of politically motivated retribution, the parents might not have lighted even a single candle for their own beloved child on 18th October 2020.
The person who brought the apology money to the parents on the killers behalf, is today himself contesting for the presidential seat against his former boss. Back then he was "Minister for Security". It would therefore be interesting to hear what Mr. Big security man has to say today about Edison's death, or about his own role in brushing the heinous crime under the rugs of history.
In orchestrating the cover-up, the then IGP Kale Kayihura quickly transferred the officers involved to new posts in different parts of the country, and today nobody has been held accountable, not even a discplinary hearing was held, nor have the people of Uganda been shown the officer who made the fatal shot to the head (with the bullet exiting at the back, leaving a disturbingly graphic injury on Edison). The officer is probably roaming in our midst everyday as if nothing happened on that fateful day.
Ugandan politicians will all say this is their "multiparty political dispensation". "It is just a game". Even when people die, real lives are taken, and families are crying in the vastness of society's silence.
The lives of youths, and even women, citizens of this country, the people of Uganda who truly believed in what they were called for, made a meaningful contribution by adding their voice to the cause, and for that many of them have been thrown in jail, tortured therein, and even died in the fight for their political beliefs never to be seen alive again, yet they were simply striving to see that their country attains the higher values of liberty and freedom, they were simply trying to protect the country from abuse of power by its politicians, and they were simply demanding from their nation's leaders the utmost respect for the true will of the people.
Edison Nasasira was murdered on 18th October 2017. In Rukungiri stadium just like the Taliban victims executed at Kabul stadium.
Edison was put to death simply for saying no to anyone changing the Constitution just so that an inelligible person clings to power!
May the citizens of Uganda, every single Ugandan voter, quietly continue your humble struggle for the people of this country on election day February 2021 by removing from parliament every single MP who changed the Constitution in 2018 regardless of their political affiliation so as to simply establish a strong foundation for the Sovereignty of the Will of the People.

Signed: Mr. Hussein Lumumba Amin.
Kampala, Uganda.

Full list of MP's who changed the Constitution. Remember that over 105 out of 317 have already been kicked out in the recent primaries: facebook.com/212665596843/posts/10159117153761844/
