WHAT SHALL WE BE REMEMBERED FOR?

Every day, I ask myself what society will remember me for. I know for a fact that I will die. The question is when. However, I keep asking whether society will have lasting lessons from me. I have seen roads named after people. Some have even changed names of villages and created monuments. I don't want to mention names like Kulubya, Lumumba, Mandela, Maria Tereza among others. These names at least sound a message of legacy to us for what they did or stood for. We live in a generation where people plan for children but do not plan them. Not many legacy attributed people are know to be rich. They are rather known to be passionately proud of a cause they either started or served. We die the moment we struggle to appease people and forget the cause. Everyday, ask yourself this important question, what shall we be remembered for?

1.    If you find yourself still known for your father's name, perhaps your name is not made and therefore you may need to reflect on whether your children will not use their grand father's legacy.

2.    If you don't set a cause or a set of values, you stand a risk of not leaving a legacy for having not lived a legacy.

3.    Don't struggle to make money and forget your name. it is the name not the money that creates a legacy.

4.    Every day, let your values move you not situations

What shall we be remembered for? A reflection we all must make
