{UAH} THE IDEA OF FOREIGN INTERVENTIONIS A RIDICULOUS ONE.

THE IDEA OF FOREIGN INTERVENTION IS A RIDICULOUS ONE.

By Gisa Isaac

The self proclaimed leader of the struggle(read situlago) has continued his call on the Western powers to intervene.

My humble opinion is that any slightest intervention of the Western world in Uganda's politics is a crazy and ridiculous idea.

It is too early for Bobiwine to be panicking! When he came on the political scene, he sought to form his own opposition. At first I thought he had a way to create his own people who would support his agenda. I was beginning to get excited because I knew that the only catalyst that was missing to cause an uprising to end the regime's survival was on the political platform.

A few weeks down the road, I realized that his sole strategy was to prey on the already existing opposition support who had already been aware of the liberation message; thanks to Dr. Kizza Besigye, Hon. Nobert Mao, Prof. Ogenga Latigo, Hon. Winnie Kizza, Hon. Ssemujju Nganda among other opposition politicians.

I was most disappointed with Bobiwine when he began jubilations over preying on the already existing opposition support LEAVING the NRM support base intact.

The Music man(Mudongo) attacked Dr. KB, a person I thought was his long-time friend.  This was followed by an exodus of MPs from DP and a few other parties to NUP. This was followed by weeks of further jubilations. I realized the blind was leading fellow blind.

I wondered why any reasonable human being would celebrate removing money from one of his pockets to another. Surely, there was nothing to celebrate when DP lost MPs to NUP because the opposition fan base had remained the same. That's when I further realised that Bobiwine was NAIVE about Uganda's politics.

BE THAT AS IT MAY; after destroying the struggle at the time when the population had gathered enough  heat and aggression to end the 35 year old rule, he is now seeking foreign intervention even before the polling day. I DETEST the idea of such intervention because any intervention will take away even the little we have.

In the MEANTIME, don't put your hopes high Bobi, it's the US that train SFC Soldiers! More than half of the UPDF budget is funded by Europe. The only thing you can hope for are statements on different twitter handles.

I MISS DR. BESIGYE in the active political arena . What consoles me is that thing code-named Plan B. My only worry however is that Bobiwine is about to spoilt it too. Let's go to the polls; after Voting Pres. POA, I will stay around, protect my vote and wait for the usual "vote thief" to come! That will be the appropriate time to start Plan B.

The Music man must stop calling on the Western powers, Ugandans can rise and end the 35 years of corruption and nepotism.
