Sheikh Nuhu Muzaata Batte Biography

Nuhu Muzaata Batte was born in the 1950's, to the late Adam Muzaata in Bwaise, Lufula Zone close to Kimombasa area. He was born to Adam Muzaata, a sheikh, as well as an Islamic religious healer who used the Holy Quran to treat the sick (duwa) who died in 1990 and buried in Kazo, a Kampala suburb.Sheikh Muzaata grew up in Bwaise,a Kampala city suburb and he has married and stayed from the same place.

Education

Sheikh Nuhu Muzaata Batte attended school from Bilal Islamic School in Bwaise, Muzaata studied for only a short time, and his father shifted him to Bilal Quran Islamic School, former Binyira, in Wandegeya. In 1982, Sheikh Nuhu Muzaata Batte joined the University of Madina in Saudi Arabia, where he has ordained a Sheikh.

Sheikh Muzaata Batte Family

He has two wives and one of them is called Quruthum Muzaata, who works with Kampala City Council Authority. Muzaata has more than 5 children from his two wives and they are all attaining good education.

Nuhu Muzaata Controversies

He has been involved in many controversies that include, attacking the former KCCA ED Jenifer Musisi for noise pollution in Kampala. Then President Museveni while accusing him for not attending Muslim organized functions and death of Islamic leaders.

Muzaata has also attacked city comedian Mariachi after he did jokes about Muslims and forced him to apologize. Then later on attacked Eddy Kenzo  after his lover Rema left him. He continued and attacked Pastor Martin Sempa of Makerere Community Church and Pastor Joseph Sserwadda of Victory Christian Centre in Ndeeba, who attacked Bobi Wine for plagiarizing the "Tuliyambala Engule" song.

Muzaata attacked Sheikh Shaban Mubajje accusing him of selling Muslim properties, and many other attacks the Sheikh has been involved in.

Net Worth

He operates a tour and travel company destined to Mecca and Medina for the Muslim intending to make Hijja and Umrah. This business has given him a lot of wealth up to now. He owns expensive cars, has his own homes and deals in real estate. And his net worth is estimated at $800,000 and above.
