To those that are adults in the forum, do you remember the sudden drop of prices in Uganda commodities after the fall of Amin’s government? At the time of the fall a bar of soap was 40 shillings, then as soon as Yusuf Lule walked in it dropped to I think it was 10 shillings, cooking oil prices dropped and sugar prices dropped, and this happened in just on the first day of the Lule presidency. The population became very excited and praised Lule for putting the goods at affordable prices. They went to a spending spree lining up on stores and buying the entire stock out. I recall in Kayunga I had a friend that had a relatively small store of clothing, and men were buying 5 pants at a walk in, with terms like “These are Lule’s prices” In the evenings the prices were being announced on radio Uganda, this product must sell at this price and that product must be sold at this price, and the morning all products were off the shelves.  The population got excited and loved the old crap in State House. Remember those days ?

 

Stupid as Uganda population is always, both the Lule regime and the population failed to recognize that prices of goods are decided by several factors, Iddi Amin never set those prices from the State House, they were determined by the costs involved into reaching them to the store, so my friend in Kayunga to get a Joola of men pants, had to spend money for its manufacturing, its transportation to Kayunga, its government taxation, he had to include the rent of the building of the store and all the expenses he incurs to make the Joola arrive and stay in his store.  When you sit in Kampala and announce how much he can sell that pant to a customer, you do not have the estimates he used to reach the prices he was selling. The good educated friends in Kampala started to beat on Amin and curved all these prices to “bad governance”  Do you see exactly how Gook defines Donald J Trump today, “The man has killed so many Americans to COVID-19 due to “bad governance” If you go after him and you ask him what exactly did Trump fail to do to stop the virus from infecting the population, he goes under the firkin mattress, because he does not have an explanation of the statement he has just dumped into the forum. Thus the term “Bad governance”. Yes Iddi Amin never had the purity of governance like the one Obote two government had. Any clarification to what you have just stated sir? No I have no time with you for you are an Aminist. The very same they say today when you ask them about Trump allegations of failures, no I have no time for you for you are a Trumpist and all of you should die.

 

The prices we had during the Amin’s time were built on many outside factors, the value of dollar that was thrown to Uganda to fail Amin, the value of fuel that we were denied, the value of cost at the buying point, all these factors were never controlled by Amin but by the Coons mostly sitting in Tanzania to cripple the government inside Uganda. We had to send several police Toyota cruisers to Busia to escort every fuel trailer that was allowed to come to Uganda, for you never knew if it will be targeted, or just looted, so all of them whenever we got a chance for Kenya to allow a single trailer with fuel to come in, were police escorted all way into Kampala. Such expenses had to be covered at the end point of selling the product. And you would not compare the prices of products between Kenya Tanzania and Uganda due to the shilling value difference that was important too, they labeled it as an Amin “bad governance” and a very stupid man that should have never become a president. The very hot crude crap Democrat supporters pile on Trump today. “There has to be a constitutional amendment for what happened in America in last four years should never have happened”. Yes Sudan has a right to get 700 million dollars when blacks in New York are dying of firkin starvation.

 

The mass shopping in Uganda continued, and boarder to boarder, I remember in Kayunga the soldier that was leading the Tanzanian soldiers in town, who was an Acholi idiot, wrote a list of what store should sell its products what day. And that list was followed to the dot, so by the time you woke up in the morning you had about 50 people lined at your store for today you have to sell your products at about 10% value of what you should have sold it. When you refused to sell it you were classified as a hoarder and the results were very bad.  Because these prices were never dropped from the entire pipe line, shop owners would not use the cash they have got to buy from whole sellers, it stared to show when the products they sell are never replaced, thus the store lined on today never open the next day for it had nothing to sell. And Lule the “Professor” had the mouth to announce those prices but he never had the supply. He imposed the process to commodities that were bought at the old prices. As the trailers stolen from people were coming in, those goods were being sold at the Lule’s prices, but purchased on the Amin prices. In business you can hold that formular for only days and it collapses. And that is exactly what happened, stores got empty and Ugandans stared to wonder what to do next.

 

On sitting with the population that lined up for these commodities, you would go over all these facts, and you question them how they feel that people’s stock had been dropped that deep, how are the store owners going to repair the shot in cash? There is so much money in the government trust me for Iddi Amin was just stealing from us let us go and buy more. What is funny is that even to today 45 years down the road, when you ask Gook how Americans can get a free medical for all, his answer is very the same, America is a very rich country trust me they can not only pay for it, they can give free money to every immigrant legal and illegal. Do you actually know the amount of United States debt? No leave me alone I have no time for Trumptards and all of you should die any ways. Back into the mattress he goes.

 

Friends it is very tough to deal with the Uganda population, it is not analytical, it does not follow figures, and it loves freebies. I cannot line to some one’s store to buy his stock out at 10% price for the government has directed so, that is not me for it is not making sense and I will question my self how that shop will replace that product. Now you have traders whose incoming products were held in Mombasa for years, the containers coming in have been stolen by the UPC Coons, and the stuff they have in stores being sold at given away prices. Just how will that store survive?

 

69 days later Lule gets thrown out of office, and the idiots take the streets with Ffe twagala Lule oba kufa tufe.  Just how stupid are our people baffles a mind !!!!!!!!!
