Deontay Wilder has been likened to Donald Trump by veteran boxing promoter Bob Arum.
Wilder was the heavyweight champion of the world this time last year, but his career now appears to be all over the shop.
Wilder has been making some strange statements in recent months
He has been making excuse after excuse since losing his WBC belt and unbeaten record to Tyson Fury at the end of February 2020.
In the wake of his knockout loss to Fury, Wilder claimed that the elaborate costume that he wore to the ring weighed him down so much he didn't have the necessary power in his legs during the fight.
You'd think that would be the craziest part of it, but it's not.
Wilder has gone on to suggest that Fury cheated to beat him by using weights in his gloves during their bout in February 2020 and he said his trainer, Mark Breland, who threw in the towel that night, spiked his water with a muscle relaxant beforehand, too.
As Fury explained to talkSPORT, it was a lot of excuses.
"First of all it was the suit, then it was the bicep injury, then his trainer was on our team, then the referee was against him, then I had weights in my gloves. Now someone has spiked his water. It's one of those things, isn't it," said the Brit.

Eddie Hearn recently claimed that Wilder has 'completely lost his mind' and it appears as though Arum, who promoters Fury in the US, agrees with him.
Speaking to Fight Night on Saturday, Arum compared Wilder's bizaree statements to those made by the former president of the United States, Trump.
"Deontay Wilder has been spoiled by our former president Donald Trump who says you can say any lie, or any preposterous thing and maybe some people believe it.
"In Trump's case, they believed it and stormed the capital. Deontay Wilder, again, irresponsible what he's saying, totally.
"Whether it's about Tyson Fury, Mark Breland – a tremendous guy – Deontay Wilder is not making any sense.
"But hey, if the former president who served for four years doesn't make sense, I mean Deontay Wilder is just another Trumpian," Arum said.
Trump's presidential term has just come to an end in the US and he's been floating numerous conspiracy theories
Wilder spent the rest of 2020 recovering from biceps surgery, but is now looking to get back into the ring.
He wants a third fight with Fury, but the Brit is not interested and is instead working on a unification showdown with fellow countryman Anthony Joshua.
While Joshua's promoter, Hearn, believes that Wilder's team are in 'disarray', the Matchroom kingpin believes Dillian Whyte could be an option for the American this year.
"First things first is March 6 for Dillian Whyte," Hearn told Sky Sports. "If he loses that, then he can forget fighting Deontay Wilder, and he can forget fighting for a world championship, so he must win that fight.
"For me, outside of AJ against Fury, Whyte-Wilder remains one of the biggest fights in boxing. I would love to make that fight.
"I think Deontay Wilder needs to get back in the ring. I certainly wouldn't be looking to put him in with Dillian Whyte straight off the bat.
"He needs a fight in my opinion. Presumably he's going to be working with a new team of trainers."
