{UAH} Hugues Fabrice Zango beats world indoor triple jump record!

The very first person to pass the 18-metres mark in indoor triple jump event is a Burkina Faso born athlete, Hugues Fabrice Zango (27). He went into history last Saturday ( 06/02/2021) when he cleared on his last jump a fabulous 18m07 that enabled him to beat the indoor mark by 15 cm. The record he beat  ( 17m92) was just the one held by his coach, Cameroonian-born Teddy Tamgho, who now vows to push his athlete to the extraordinary outdoor record in the event, an incredible feat standing at 18m29, set 25 years ago by Britain's Jonathan Edwards. Zango's record was established during a local indoor athletics meeting in the outskirts of Clermont Ferrand city. Nobody expected a world record to tumble in such a very local sports reunion held in an ordinary gymnasium. Yet Zango was ready for the exploit which is going to change his life forever.In France one can't be a world champion in any field and fail to become great practically in all aspects. So congs and hats off to young Hugues Fabrice Zango!
