COME TO STREETS AND THEN WHAT??

🤷🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️There are a zillion successful revolutions but there's no single revolution whose success came by accident. All were well planned and with a clear strategy. Without planning and strategy the rest is all nothing but passing time.

The NUP leadership and opposition as a whole ought to plan and strategize if the revolution is to bear fruits. For NUP, it even has an added advantage when it comes to execution of this plan/strategy.

They have a structure in the just elected leaders. Let these leaders be the mobilisers towards the execution of the plan......otherwise inviting people on streets, without any leadership is suicidal. Come to the streets and then what? Without any leadership each will do anything of their choice......some will burn tyres. Some will block roads.

Some will throw stones while others might turn to looting, which is not is in direct contrast of what the revolution stands for. Why? Because they don't have any leader to guide them. NUP leadership should henceforth streamline its flow of information to reach even the lowest leader.

That way, all would return to the ground and mobilise accordingly and execute the plan in line with the over all strategy. It is only through being organised that the revolution will succeed otherwise just a few people hitting the streets without any end goal to achieve will be easy to quell and every time this happens will only weaken the revolution.

Otherwise it has been a good start if building momentum is what one was looking at. Focus should also be extended on other people who might be afraid of hitting the streets. NUP should innovate ways that can accommodate such a group. This can come through symbolism like carrying a Uganda flag to work daily or wearing red to work. This will build momentum and with time even this group will lose their fear and hit the streets.

It happened during the last elections. It can happen again. At the start of his campaign, the middle class never wanted to associate with Bobi but by the time we neared elections, after momentum had been gained, they too embraced Bobi Wine. It can be achieved again. Let's plan. First month can start with either boycotts or symbolism - wearing of red to work, or adopting FDC's model of blowing whistles at a particular. It will likely build momentum for the next cause of action, which we would adopt in the next month.
