From the fun angle, it's a good strategy, I used to apply it when I was a young man- I used to pick and sponsor my cousins and friends for drinks.

Most recent experience was in Toronto a few years ago, one girl broke her friendship with my sister in law. She narrated her experiences with my sister in law, that however much she tried her luck, the boys would gravitate to her friend.

And she was damn serious and perhaps realistic!

The danger of associating with less endowed people is that you can't measure your ability well, you will assume that you are better than everyone. It's only good for fun or less serious stuff.

You need to weigh yourself against others of your equal or higher,that is when you get really assessment.in politics, equal or better comrades will ensure quality service, well discussed and formulated policies unlike when you pick those who feel you did them a favor, they will even sleep on duty to make you happy! Some of them become conmen and con women!

Far often presidents choose the most likeable persons for VP. That's not the case with Museveni.
