Copied.
Yesterday I had an experience at 1pm on Bulabira Road in Najjera. I nearly fell victim to a con woman. As I drove along, I notice someone lying in the road, covered with a less but evidently her hand had an IV line(canula). I really thought she was drunk during the day, till I saw her hand as I dodged knocking her. I stopped and went to her and all she said was to check a paper in her hand, it was Angelina clinic namugongo prescription pad. With 150,000shs written on it. The lady said she was denied treatment bse she couldn't afford. She was visibly shaking, low voice, crying tears..it seemed real. I told her I would give her the money. Asked her if she could try to sit on boda, she said she would. Starts to appreciate and bless me for the help rendered. My car was full with kids couldnt take her myself. So as I get my wallet from the car, a random passerby stops and asks rhe lady of she was in mengo hospital. The sick lady immediately says she's not the one. The passerby walks away and returns a minute later as we are helping the lady onto boda with other bodas who stopped. This time she's with a man who says, he was conned of 250k by the same lady but in town. The guy even put her on taxi and afew metres after they set off he saw woman disembarking and jumping onto boda and disappeared. She denied but in denying even her strength came back and she started to defend herself and stand upright. So turns out, this is her game. I was lucky that coincidentally someone she has conned once was passing by. Ofcourse looking back, who writes amount owed on prescription pad? But seeing her on the ground in day light seemed like a real emergency. Bodas gathered and started asking whats going on, I just got into the car and left. U feared mob justice for her if bodas knew. She also jumped on boda and disappeared.
