For a Kingdom that has been in turmoil as Buganda Kingdom, Yoweri Museveni came to Mengo as Manna fell to the Children of Israel in the desert. The government is corrupt, it is un prepared and it is un productive. Can you imagine if Mengo established its self as a none corrupt entity in that midst? Can you simply imagine if it stood, and worked out systems to lead Baganda? And Museveni has made all mistakes but he has not even for a single moment curbed Mengo's ability to build Buganda. Can you imagine if Mengo organized Baganda the entire numbers it has in diaspora, showed them how they can run Buganda, and how much money they would have simply plowed out of diaspora? And yet to today Mengo has absolutely nothing to  show, not built and nothing planed for Buganda. Every idiot is preaching praises for the Kingdom, praises for Ssabasajja but not a single one of them ever wonders the value of that institution. What makes me as a Muganda any different from an Acholi thanks to Mengo? You know they travelled through these cities preaching how we all must raise funds in Tofaali, I pulled a credit card to contribute to that Tofaali, and it was actually my late wife that held that hand and just cautioned me that they have not given us a strategic plan they have to which to use the money, I need to take a moment and wait see how the funds they have got so far is used. I stood up and returned that card back to the pocket. Contributions went by and many Ugandans actually contributed into it and both Baganda and none Baganda. Man was she wise  !!!!!!  Today when you stand in this city and speak about Etofaali you can easily get stoned, for that money got lost and the preachers of Etofaali got lost and the money taken got lost. End of the story.

 

Mengo had the support of all Ugandans in this city, Nabakyaala came to this city and all Ugandans showed up, for you see in our country when you build a hospital in Buganda every one walks in, including Rwandans. People here saw this as a good start to a good path, they want to build Buganda let us chip in. And trust me we have the money to contribute to our country we just have no one to hand it to. Mengo people pulled so much money from Ugandans in the states, all that went with the wind. I appealed to Mengo in both direct talks and in Emails that they need to build a massive hospital in Buganda for mothers and kids, we are losing so many women when having babies, we are losing so many babies to age 5 let us improve that. A massive hospital 5 times the size of Mulago and dedicate all our eyes in bringing in the best to treat pregnant women and babies. The expertise is out there and it can be imported to Uganda. Museveni for God's sake allowed all construction material and equipment to be imported tax free, Mengo just did not give a fuck. Mengo today has nothing to show, as Museveni has nothing to show, as Barrack Obama has nothing to show. Can you simply imagine if Mengo used this chance to show how good leadership works, how none corruption works, how public investment works, do you have an idea how Mengo would have been uplifted? And John Kwitonda jumps all that shit and attacks Museveni's corruption and bad governance, are you kidding me. Is NRM more corrupt than Mengo for real?

 

Is Museveni really that bad or we are just bullies with too much time on our hands?                       Just asking !!!!

At a certain point of complaining and side-kicks about Yoweri K Museveni, I struggle understanding two issues about the man.

 

{a} Museveni has been a killer his entire life and there is not a single Ugandan debating that factor, yet every single person and from all political stripes attacks his killing only from the day he walked from UNLF into Luwero. I have read all complaints about Museveni, and trust me there is a whole lot of it in UAH, but no one complains about his killing Ugandans before he abandoned UNLF. Ugandans complain about the killings in Luwero, they raise Somalia, they raise DRC, they raise Rwanda, CAR has been raised but not a single Ugandan and from any stripe no matter what, that has ever complained about his killing before he abandoned UNLF. And I wonder why it is holly when he attacked Uganda in 1972, it is holy when he attempted to assassinate Iddi Amin but killed several in Nsambya, it is holy when he murdered Moslems in Lake katwe and Mbarara, but my God the man is a killer for he killed people in Somalia. An ability to dissect his walking into Mbarara in day light and kill as many as he would with how he blew up an Owinyi Kibul bus on Bombo road, how do Ugandans stand in front of a mirror look in their face after making that God damn dissection.

 

{b} This man has been in power for now almost 40 years, and he has done a litany of murders in this country let alone region, all way from Lake Katwe, to Mbarara, to Kampala, to the Luwero inferno, to camping Acholi for many years where many lives were lost, to Mukura when he actually packed so many into train wagons, doused them with gasoline and torched them alive, he has killed in Rwanda for he was a part of the genocide, DRC is still unstable to today, CAR is the same crap, like I have started this paragraph it is a litany. A litany that does not include small killings like Andrew Kayiira, Nebanda, add on any one you so wish. And yet in all those lives lost in our country under this one man, as I write this piece there is no organized opposition against Yoweri Museveni. And you can pound your head on a wall all times you want it just simply does not exist. There is no organized opposition against this man, if he was a chicken in Canada we call them freely ranging.

 

And there are many ways bad governments get opposed, a good opposition party goes after them, yet Ugandans to today have failed to create an opposition that it just does not exist, it does not exist to a point that as I write this piece I cannot even give you a name of a major threat to Museveni. What I see is Kwaras like Besigye, the Bobbie Winnie, the Kyagulanyi the what have you and all of them are just kids at play. You need to have a time on your hand to even discuss them. And I am not looking at a name that can threaten Museveni but an ability to stand and entice my firkin interest, and that should not be too much to ask for after 40 years of sheer terrorism. Should It?

 

But shockingly enough to critical thinkers, there is not even an organizational opposition threatening this man, allow me to extrapolate, when society get oppressed, there are organizations that stand up to protect the populace, we have seen church organizations standing up in Central America and denouncing dictatorship, they denounce corruption, the Anglican Church and Catholic Church, Seventh day Adventists are a huge organizations in Uganda, with such a massive followers, yet we fail understanding how they have singularly let alone collectively failed to raise up and go after him. No body is out there. Museveni sucks society dry and they suck society dry. The difference they suck society with a Bible in hand and Museveni sucks society with an AK 47 in hand. Which takes me directly to Mengo. It is a huge entity, with such a huge authority into a region that it has just refused to tap into. Museveni allowed that kingdom to be reinstate and I opposed it for Kingdoms are natural thus no one installs, un install them, I argued that if Museveni is good to Buganda he has to leave the decisions about the Kingdom to Baganda. I continued that if he has the power to install it he can un install it. But don't you wonder that even Mengo its self, given its full support it seats on, has failed to use its position to go after him? Doesn't that bother you a single bit? Even as little as calling on his terrorism just never come out of Mengo, his corruption just never come out of Mengo, in fact I was talking with guys few days go and the joke was "Mengo is more royal to Museveni than the Movement its self. What the fuck? Sorry  !!!!! Is Museveni really that bad?  It makes you ponder as the John Kwitonda's go on and on and on, at what many Ugandans actually do not see.

 

Guys I have a conference call scheduled for 11.15am Copenhagen time, I gotta go make sure my notes are in order as we plan this kid's rest. Yes we have to do this and we will do it.
