{UAH} RESPONSE TO DAILY MONITOR ARTICLE...

Dear Daily Monitor Editor,

After reading your segment "Today In History" for 24th May, it is clear that the Daily Monitor is busy whitewashing dictator Milton Obote from the blood of his victims and the full political and military responsibility of all his crimes.

It is only the people of Luweero who at least tried, though in vain, to hold Obote's decomposing cadavre responsible for a heinous genocide against their relatives in the 1980's. The local media it seems is frantically helping the man from Akokoro make the proverbial detour through Eastern Uganda so as to walk Scot free from answering for all the senseless mass murders that he organized, orchestrated, ordered, and ultimately committed one after the other ever since he became Prime Minister. Thus Obote probably laughing at the people of Uganda every night from the dark depths of his lonely, unkept grave.

If the late Prime Minister Dr. Apollo Milton Obote ordered the attack on Mengo for any reason whatsoever, and if all the Uganda Army foot soldiers involved in the attack are as innocent as it seems, then what exactly is it that makes Col. Amin guilty of anything, and what countless other heinous acts of Oboteism are you knowingly hiding?
