One of the largest problem of disinformation on such issues, is that it leads the populace into believing that there is an emanate conviction. So society keeps on feeding on the Peter Simon Okurut noise and it believes that the arrest made is going to lead to a conviction. By the time all the information I dumped into the forum reaches the courts of law, society is already polluted with disinformation, for it comes from all sideways, the Peter Simon Okurut, BLM, the CNN and what have you. The courts that hear these cases end up failing to hand a conviction, but society does not get the reasons why, for that is not sent out to society by the Peters. That creates two problems, society taking the streets, and torching public property but most importantly it stops to believe the court system. When disinformation starts to harm the court system we all including Peter Simon Okurut get hurt. This is why we need to be very careful at what we say on cases that are still handled by the system for that system is the only option we truly have.

 

Thus we can never go to the forums and call the 20 year old in London a murderer, for we just don't know that. He is a suspect and murder charges are police allegations that have not been proven in courts of law. I have lived in this society long enough to watch police file senseless cases, I have watched cases filled and withdrawn for the killer had a mental problem we neglected way back, thus we back off and allow the judges to look closely with out our input, at what happened for that is their job than ours.

 

One would think that this is basic information to a Mwiiri graduate, yet here we so are.

I need to take a second and go back to the very sad death of the family in London, and I need to specifically address the issue of Islamophobia and terrorism. There are some of us that believe that people should never be attacked due to the God they worship, I believe that Moslems, like Catholics, like SDAs, like those that do not believe in God must always be allowed to believe in what they want to believe.  And I go out of my way to make sure that I do my part in promoting such a belief. I do not believe into generalization and when I raise up to use it, I go out of my way to back that call and why I have made it. I have posted several pieces as to why I believe that Acholi are violent, I have posted several pieces to prove that Rwandans are looting our country dry. And by the way on both I have given massive examples but challenges to both, that have been wisely ignored.

 

Last Tuesday I logged on when Peter Simon Okurut had decided to go after the kid that killed the family in London, in that posting Peter used terms I was just uncomfortable to swallow, and I directly disassociated myself from such. You see in this country we do not call any one a murderer unless he/she has been tried in front of his/her piers or a judge and found guilty, we do not call any act a terrorism act unless a very high bar has been reached by the prosecutors in a court of law. A man walked into a Mosque in Montreal and killed 6 people that were praying, by the laws we wrote in this country he was found guilty of six first degree murders. but the prosecution failed to reach the bar of terrorism. I repeat my self for clarity, he walked into a Mosque, when people that were Moslems were praying and killed them, yet it was not an act of terrorism. That is why some of us are very slow in opening our mouth like Peter Simon Okurut did the other day, for we need to get the facts before we use search terms, but we fear polluting the jury poll for what Peter Simon Okurut did does exactly that.

 

We have institutions in society that guide us in such cases like London, mainly the press, for we expect it to go in and dig out the facts and report them back to use. I am submitting to you that we have lost the press for it behaves like Peter Simon Okurut, we have lost the police system for it too wakes up and behaves exactly like Peter Simon Okurut. As this case progresses, we are starting to wonder why and how London police arrived at the conclusion that the suspect is anti Moslems. For you see the moment police made that statement, hell broke loose, politicians travelled to London to preach how they are not anti Moslems, Moslems from all walks of life started to go to London for now the entire country is Islamophobia. Small politicians from city hall here in Toronto started to preach how all Moslems are in danger. The prime minister and premier travelled to London all preaching how Moslems must be protected for they were targeted. Such actions plant un wanted fear among Moslems, it creates un wanted anxiety among Moslems, It drives Moslems into being defined a specific class of population, that must be protected specifically for the world is out there to go after all of them, it creates so many things. But it prevents those of us that want to fight Islamophobic behaviors from achieving our goals, for society now has been forced to look at a paper Tiger than the Tiger its self.

 

This kid was born in Strathroy a very small town of only 20,000 people. Thus every one knows every one, when you raise the name of this kid, they look at you and go was he anti Moslems? Really? That is a new one. We know that he had a vey terrible childhood, a divorce in family took a blow at him as a child, he broke down at place of work due to due to a death in family few days ago, and he had seen psychiatrist at many times, where one wrote that he had a problem with anger. He had a Facebook account that was dormant, in fact the term police is using today, is that on social media he is a ghost,  there is just no foot print. He had no police record and London, police states that he was of no interest to them ever. But Strathroy-Caradoca Police states that in his short life he has appeared in 14 incidents in their records, between 2016 and 2020, they add none are  major criminal matters, two liquor license act violation. The London neighbors, they claim of banging on the wall every time to their photographs shacking, and one went to him to complain, and he failed to look in her eyes, another neighbor said that he has never heard him utter anything anti-Moslems, he also complained about night banging on the wall as late as 3am.

 

Did this kid even know that his victims were Moslems? That is the question bothering critical thinkers this morning, you see you cannot declare how the entire community of Moslems is in danger unless you have a single word from the kid that threatens them. These victims were from Pakistan and we now know that he did not even know them. We also know that he drove a truck from the scene to a parking lot, when it had blood and asked people to call police for he had killed someone, he was arrested ten minutes after the incident. Does that sound to you as terrorist and a man out to get all Moslems in Canada? The prime minister called it a terrorist attack, Pakistan president called it a terrorist attack that shows how Moslems are hated in all Western countries. We are at a situation where all sharks are circling, except we just do not have enough facts to jump on that band wagon.

 

And I opine that we all need to stop, we need to take a deep breath, we need to allow the investigation to take place, we need to understand what happened if we are going to stop it, but we need the police department and politicians including Peter Simon Okurut, to shut the heck up, for now is not the time to pour gasoline on fire. This is a sad day for a family and it is not a time to score political points by opening our mouth gafula.
