BOBI AND NUP HAVE WEAKENED THE BUGANDA KINGDOM

Two days ago, some NUP members were at it once again posting messages that the Kabaka was dead, that M7 was dead, that his son was critically ill in a hospital in Nairobi ... And they've done this countless times. But who exactly originates/generates such messages and what are their intentions?

These things started in 2017 with the coming of Bobi Wine into politics which marked a disaster on the political, social and cultural scene in Uganda, particularly in Buganda. Speaking to Mr Lubega, a Muganda friend, about the behaviour of the NUP youths regarding the Kingdom, he told me those youths don't care about the cultural things and the Kabaka. I find this very dangerous to the kingdom's survival.

In 2018 they were abusing the Kabaka when the kingdom claimed ownership rights over Busabala land. They've been sowing rivalry btn the Katikiro, the kingdom and the Kabaka. I don't see the junta implicated yet it's the one we want out of power.

Before, Buganda Kingdom's enemy was from out. Now he's from within! It's these thousands of youths who  were mobilized under a fake project with no clearly defined goal to pursue other than disruption. There's nothing constructive they can learn from their leader BW other than disruption.

In fact they have weakened the kingdom, it's future role in grooming Buganda politicians and it's role in the politics of this country. You can't hear Nkoba Za Mbogo anymore. Political pilgrimages are now on Gayaza road not Mengo.

Imagine a generation below 20yrs right now, seeing the Kabaka, Nabagerekka, and Katikiro being abused and mocked online. Bakoopi don't know their limits anymore, mbu we demand to see the Kabaka, yiyi.🤔

That was unheard of.

My appeal to change seeking Ugandans is to triple their efforts to bring back these youths to the right path of logic, focus, mutual respect and responsible communication. Remember the NRM regime enjoys their disruptive acts and thrives on them.
