Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi suddenly had a loss for words when it came to Rep. Ilhan Omar’s latest controversy. Omar accused Jewish Members of Congress of failing to promote “justice” around the world.

Pelosi shoed off reporters when asked about Omar.

Omar tried backtracking and made a feeble apology for offending her Jewish colleague.

“I have apologized when I have felt that my words have offended, and it’s really important, right, as I’ve explained to my colleagues, they have engaged in Islamophobic tropes. I have yet to receive an apology,” said Omar.

On Wednesday lawmakers and opponents chided Omar after she appeared on CNN. She told host Jake Tapper that Jewish congressional members not “partners in Justice.” She continued they are not “equally engaging in seeking Justice around the world.”

Had Omar’s statements been made by a Republican, you can be certain that Pelosi would’ve had plenty to say. It looks like the squad, including Omar, have Pelosi right where they want her: quiet.
