{UAH} Information overload

During my undergraduate studies, one Lecturer teaching economics would come with 140 slides for a single lecture.  After the lecture everyone would ask the  neighbour if they had understood.  Of course very little learning was taking place.  The Lecturer was very knowledgeable but had very poor skills of transferring the knowledge! This led us to coin the word" DPP ". DPP stands for Death by Power Point.
It is better to teach a few slides, students get to understand and then use this understanding to learn the rest. Most times a person can only retain about seven pieces of information at a time. I normally some members that post three pages. Many people simply cannot read such long articles and those that struggle to do so may end up not understanding!
