{UAH} The numbers started reducing on 30th June following the lockdown

Minister Jane Ruth Aceng: As of today, the country has registered 92,795 cumulative cases of COVID-19. Currently, there are 677 patients admitted to different facilities.

Generally, there appears to be a reversal in the trend. The numbers started reducing on 30th June following the lockdown. Although there is a decline in cases, there is a non-declining number of deaths because of patients who reach health facilities late.

The average daily admissions stand at 50 per day. The positivity rate has dropped to an average of 10%, the desirable positivity rate is 5%.
