{UAH} The World should get beyond warring over ancient and primitive ideals

The  war in Afghanistan is over, it does not make any more economic sense for President Biden to continue spending millions daily on Afghanistan, that money could be put to greater use on his domestic agenda now hemorrhaging for cash.

The world hopes that the Taliban, who are advancing and winning territories in Afghanistan, will have a Godly and more merciful approach to win over their own kind, so that the World does not witness yet another slaughtering of young boys, women and children of Islam, as it was in Syria with ISIS, and in Kosovo in 1998-99, Iraq, Lebanon, Yemen, Palestine, Central Republic of Congo, the Uighur now under similar threat in China.

The scarred face of Malala Yousafzai,   the young girl who was shot by a Taliban operative for simply going to school -is a face the World will never forget as a dark symbol that stood for a need for an alternative hope and optimism in Afghanistan, like any other young girl in the World, she wanted to venture into biologics, participate in finding solutions that have dogged many, her ideals, spirit and dreams were not so different from those of young boys globally, waiting to exhale in a rigid world of old men warring over ancient and primitive ideals.

Malala like many other children - caught in World conflicts was  stripped of her dreams, like many other children killed, she wanted to become a Doctor, how noble!
Warring factions in these hot spots need to know, that No nation will transport away all your children and women for protection, that is simply unsustainable, cool heads ought to prevail locally, much as controlling interests disagree as to who controls what territory, preparations to minimize  the humanitarian toll ought to be the first on the negotiation table, find ways of not spilling blood and keeping the inhabitants dignified even in their defiance.

There is a legal and moral responsibility to all nations that are signatory to the UN charter,  especially those who are mighty and powerful and on the Security Council, an obligation to try and keep a kinder and gentler humanitarian World order- as was articulated many years ago by the late President Bush and those who formulated the Bill of rights for all nations.

Faced with the most aggressive COVID-19 pandemic never seen before, with millions of lives lost, people are exhausted from witnessing daily pandemic deaths, additional deaths from civil wars will simply throw them over the edge with sorrow.

Intercontinental Ballistic missiles , flying Drones and Saucers to the moon and Mars, selling the cheapest commodities on the World scene or having the most religious edicts and holy sites -have recently all become meaningless and less impressive, when it comes to wining hearts and minds of the world citizens -if on the other hand the same leaders are responsible for violent suppression and brutalization of people under their watch.

If there is anything learned from this century of the  COVID-19 pandemic, it is not the big items of war that we are most vulnerable to, but lack of compassion for each other and indeed lack of scientific progress in virology to keep the human race alive and safe from primitive genetic creatures that can latch onto our own immune system and reek havoc.
