{UAH} IT'S NOW EVERY OFFICER AND EVERY HUMAN RIGHTS ABUSER FOR THEMSELVES!

In regards to human rights abuses being committed by members of the Ugandan military, the police and other security agencies, those in the name of whom these crimes are being committed will clearly do anything not to be held accountable for their role and responsibility, leaving the officers and ordinary men and women in uniform to suffer the consequences of unlawful commands and the ensuing crimes against the people of Uganda. Each individual officer must therefore now commit to a fresh professional start because obviously since last Saturdays national speech, it is now each individual for himself in regards to being answerable for human rights violations. This requires vigilance in whatever one is being asked to do, and possibly even noting down times and dates of any questionable orders lest it be needed in potential disciplinary proceedings. As for the people of Uganda, they simply want public safety institutions and officers who guarantee the peoples freedoms and protect the citizens lives and property, rather than protecting the instigators of violence against the people and against political opponents. It is also now clear that those whom officers thought they were being loyal to will in the end unscrupulously disclaim any responsibility for any crimes committed in their name. Even God knows that's politicians!
