Note this urgent information, University Health network is the largest health research organization in the entire North America, and it ranks first in Canada for total research funding. It includes the following institutions, Toronto General Hospital, Toronto Western Hospital, Princess Margret Cancer Center, The Toronto Rehabilitation Institute as well as the Michener institute. Among those it includes three acute care hospitals, thus this large and employs a whole whack of people and many Ugandans. 

 

With this posting be informed that the net work has decided to terminate every one that has not been vaccinated from Covid-19. This is how it is going to work, you are going to be placed on two weeks un unpaid leave if you refuse to be vaccinated and then get fired. The net work states that 900 plus members have either not given their vaccination status or indicated they are not vaccinated. You must have your first shot by September 8, which allows for a second shot by October the 8^th. If by October the 8^th you have not been vaccinated you will be placed on two week unpaid leave, if by the end of those two weeks you are not vaccinated, your employment with UHN will be terminated.

 

This step has just been taken by the net work and sadly on a Friday evening when everyone has gone for the week end, if you work within the network or know any one that works with the network, pass this information urgently for it is critical if that job will be saved.
