ERIAS LUKWAGO TURNED DOWN AN OFFER TO MEET PRESIDENT MUSEVENI

The Lord Mayor of Kampala Ssalongo Erias Lukwago has turned down an offer from the Minister for Kampala to have him meet with Mr. Museveni privately at State House Entebbe in order to forge a way forward to the transformation of Kampala city.

Lukwago says these are not personal matters adding that covertly meeting with Mr. Museveni will not have any positive contribution to the City transformation.

Lukwago says that Kampala has elected leaders including Mayors and Councilors and thus it is better for President Museveni to come and meet all of them at City Hall to forge a way forward of transforming the city in broad daylight not hiding.
