MPUUGA is a shame
On December 13. 2010, 12yrs back Mathias Mpuuga Ssempaata was shot twice in the leg at Hotel La Nova located in Soweto village in Katwe-Butego division Masaka City by Tycoon John Ssempiira, a former Masaka Municipality auditor for snatching & sleeping with his wife Harriet Ndagire.
Ssempiira said that he was tipped off by a friend that his wife Ndagire had been sighted entering the hotel with Mpuuga Ssempaata.
He explained that acting on that tip, he pretended as if he had gone to book a room for the night and when he was finally allowed to enter, he checked in all the rooms only to find his wife Ndagire having sex in Hotel La Nova's room number 20 with Mpuuga
Ssempiira explained that he decided to shoot Mpuuga using his personal gun because he was overcome by anger and embarrassment.
He says it was unbelievable to him to find her wife red handed with Mpuuga, who was then a Buganda Kingdom Youth Minister, engaging in extra-marital affairs with other people's women.
