{UAH} EASTER SUNDAY GRACED ALL OVER THE WORLD
Pope Francis waves to an estimated 250.000 pilgrims assembled in St Peter's Square Rome for Easter Mass and the Papal Urbi et Orbi Easter Blessing to Rome and to the world.
Easter has been very warmly celebrated throughout Christendom and the entire world. Crowds were present in every place of worship practically in all denominations constituting the Christian faith. The Catholics rose up for this year's Easter with an extra flavour which had seen a million catechumens and babies baptized in the faith during the Easter vigil night mass. Parishes / sub-parishes/ and even chapels throughout the continent had many to baptize. And on Easter Sunday itself, as usual, churches everywhere couldn't have enough space to accommodate the thousands of worshippers who turned up for Easter Mass. And in Rome itself the vast St Peter's Square had a lot to do with the quarter of a million people who eagerly showed up for the Papal Mass and the Easter Blessing which the Pope gave to the entire world after his eloquent Easter message which appealed for a global ceasefire to all conflicts sadly going on throughout many parts of the world. He also appealed to leaders to listen to the calls for peace from the people they govern. The excellent weather in Rome provided for many very good things to grace the occasion. Many radios and 68 TV channels from 50 countries relayed direct the ceremonies to many parts of the world. In addition there was the Eurovision and the Mondovision TV channels did a lot to transmit the ceremonies to all corners of the world.
